Solar light is multi-directional. When it reflects on a plane surface (water, road, windscreens…), the axis of vibration changes, and this light a polarizing light.
Extremely bright, it immediately generates discomfort and a decrease in perception and contrast. These cannot be eliminated by standard solar lenses. This light is the principal cause of tears, visual distraction and fatigue.
The polarizing filter contains perfectly aligned crystals, which block the horizontally polarized light.
